One of my specialties is creating very unique works of art that are specific to you! I’ll take on those inside jokes and life events and work with you to design and create something perfect.
Custom works include: cards, stickers, key chains, drawings, paintings, mixed media pieces, chalkboard art, calligraphy, tattoo designs, logos, programs/brochures, postcards, coloring books/pages, paper garland, etc.
Please contact me for more details and/or to request a custom piece. Many custom cards range from $10 to $20 (plus 6% sales tax & shipping); some pieces can range upwards $50 but I’ll let you know what you’re getting into. I’ll also work with you to develop design options and figure out sizes, colors, materials, and price points. For orders of large quantities (usually >50), I’ll send one or more free samples before you commit to the order. For other custom works I usually send pictures via email of sketches and other design options.
Think your idea is silly? I don’t. Well, maybe I do but that’s fun! I’ve made graduation gowns, puppy portraits, front doors, and even a bear in the backseat of a car wearing a seat belt. Below are some of these past custom projects with descriptions and prices:
Party Invitations – Hand drawn design for a little girl’s dog themed first birthday party. The design is cut from layers of paper and then photocopied and mounted to a textured reverse side (postcard style) and delivered with envelops. ($35 for 20 prints + 1 original)
Lab Visit Thank You Card – One of my most extensive cards replicating the inside and the door looking into an optics laboratory. The outside lab door (front of card) also includes the visitors peering in (based on real visitors). 3-D embellishments make the technical equipment. ($50)
Community Fun Run Logo – Hand-drawn logo for t-shirts and other event items and apparel for a local community fun run. Delivered digitally & typically with multiple color options. ($50)
Doggo Card – Handmade reproduction from a photo of this cute little good boy in the autumn leaves. This features layers of paper, some with paint or pastels to create extra details. ($20)
Retirement Painting – Freehand painting and lettering that was given as a retirement gift. Acrylic paints create the earth standing out against a starry space background. The painting is finished with freehand metallic penmanship for the quote and final stars. ($60)
Chalkboard Art – Freehand chalkboard art at one of my favorite local bars, Adam’s Taphouse, which specializes in ribs (thus the pig themes). Completed in 4-5 hours for this large board ($50)
